Payment to Cruise & Travel Berwick acknowledges that you have read, understood and accept these booking conditions.

I. Payment

A deposit of $2500 per person in your local currency (AUD) is required at the time of booking. If the Tour Package includes flights, a further deposit to cover the airfare and taxes may also be required at time of booking. The Airlines in some cases require all flight bookings to have the air ticket issued within three to five days of confirmation of the Airline reservation. Please note as Cruise & Travel Berwick offer a fully inclusive package price, the dollar difference between ‘Land Only’ price and ‘Package Price’ (including airfare from the departure city) does not represent the airfare deposit amount due. Please enquire with your Consultant as to the exact amount of airfare deposit and taxes required at the time of booking. The balance of payment, including any merchandise, is due 90 days prior to departure or earlier depending on the Airlines, Tour Operators and other service suppliers requirements.

2. Prices

All holiday prices are based on schedules, fares and tariffs current at the time this brochure was printed. Cruise & Travel Berwick reserves the right to vary the cost of tours if necessary, by reason of currency fluctuation, component cost increase or airfare cost. Tour costing will be guaranteed at the price prevailing at the date of final payment.


Children’s fares are not available on this tour.

Credit Card Transactions:

Credit card surcharges may apply when paying by credit card. If for any reason any travel service provider is unable to provide the services for which you have contracted, your remedy lies against that provider, and not against Cruise & Travel Berwick (a division of Travellers Place Pty Ltd). In the event that payment has been made to Cruise & Travel Berwick by credit card, you agree that you will not seek to charge back your payment to Cruise & Travel Berwick.

3. Taxes

Tour prices include Government and airport taxes. Tax amounts are subject to change and will be confirmed at time of final payment of airfare booking. Additional taxes may be required to be paid locally dependent on government regulations imposed from country to country and city to city.

4. Luggage Limits

Each traveller is entitled to take one suitcase, the sum of its length, width and depth is not to exceed 140cm and weigh no more than 23 kilograms. Airlines may charge a fee for every kilogram you are over. Additional luggage is available for both Business and First Class passengers.

5. Passengers

Smoking is not permitted in Single or Twin/Double rooms. Single travelers must pay any additional costs incurred in regards to any services provided viz Single Supplement. We do not provide a share with stranger option.

6. Room & Dietary Requests

Special room and dietary requests will be accepted and passed on to the hotels and cruise lines but cannot be guaranteed.

7. Smoking Laws

Smoking rooms at hotels or on cruise lines will be subject to availability and may not be available in some destinations.

8. Seat Rotation

For the enjoyment of all passengers Cruise & Travel Berwick operates a daily seat rotation system on Coaches which all passengers must participate in as a condition of booking.

9. Travel Insurance

Travel Insurance for all passengers is compulsory on this tour.

10. Cancellations/Transfer of Booking

In the event of the cancellation of a tour the following fees apply:

  • 60 days or more prior to departure, loss of deposit plus the cost of the airline ticket and taxes if issued.
  • Between 7 and 59 days prior to departure, 50% of the tour price.
  • Less than 7 days prior to departure, 100% of the tour price.

11. Health and Fitness

Payment of deposit by traveler(s) to Cruise Centre Berwick acts as a warranty that the traveler(s) is/are reasonably healthy and/or fit to participate in the tour and the traveler(s) indemnifies Cruise Centre Berwick from all actions, claims and demands arising out of any want of health and fitness. Cruise Centre Berwick reserves the right to remove a traveler from a tour if their health and/or fitness interfere with the tour or other traveler(s) tour experience in any way. Travelling with a wheelchair is subject to availability at the time of booking as each tour only has the capacity to cater for one wheelchair passenger.

12. Responsibilities

Cruise Centre Berwick advises that the service it provides is for the booking and packaging of goods and services provided by other operators such as hotels and transportation companies. Travellers are advised to familiarize themselves with the terms and conditions on which these services are supplied.

Accordingly, Cruise Centre Berwick will not be responsible and will be excluded from liability for any loss, damage, omission or acts being negligent or otherwise, committed by the operators of airlines, coach companies, hotels or attractions used in connection with the tours.

13. Airline Indemnity

Airlines carry no responsibility for any statement in this brochure relating to the ground content of the tours. These airlines act as air carriers only. Cruise Centre Berwick indemnifies the airlines against any claim, action, loss or damage that may arise.

14. Optional Tours

Cruise Centre Berwick does not operate these excursions. As such, no person employed or associated with Cruise Centre Berwick has any connection with the operators of these excursions. Accordingly, Cruise Centre Berwick cannot and do not take any responsibility for any injury, action, loss or damage of any type, arising in any manner from these excursions.

15. Variation

Cruise & Travel Berwick reserves the right to cancel or to vary the content of its tours should the need arise or does not meet the minimum number of passengers to operate with.

16. Dispute

The law of this contract is the law of the State of Victoria and where applicable the law of the Commonwealth of Australia.

17. Documentation

The traveler(s) is/are responsible for the acquisition of passports and appropriate visas, where necessary. We recommend that such documents, as required by governments, are finalized at least six weeks prior to the date of departure. Please note Traveler’s documentation including any merchandise will be forwarded to Cruise & Travel Berwick approx. two to three weeks prior to departure.

18. Refund

Please note that no refund shall be made for any unused portion of any itinerary. Any alteration to the holiday, made by a traveler(s), shall be wholly at the expense of that traveler(s).

19. Travel Compensation Fund

Cruise & Travel Berwick (a division of Travellers Place Pty Ltd) is a participant of the Travel Compensation Fund. The Travel Compensation Fund is Australia’s primary means of providing compensation to eligible travelers who suffer loss as a result of the financial collapse of a participating travel agency business. Cruise & Travel Berwick run a Client Account holding clients monies until tour payments are settled. All tours are prepaid to hotels and attractions.

20. Cost Comparison

Price comparisons listed in the core brochure are to be used as a guide only. All were correct at time of printing and Cruise & Travel Berwick accepts no responsibility for any changes to these prices.
